About Me

Drawing has always been of interest to me and I spent the earlier years of my life drawing cartoons. More recently, I have started doing more realistic wildlife drawings with coloured pencils.

My profession is based around animals as I am a qualified zookeeper. I have a degree in Animal Management and always wanted to work with animals. Having worked at several different zoos, I am now based full-time at home working with my family at our own zoo in the north east of England, Northumberland Zoo. At the Zoo, my parents and I are on a mission to create the next major wildlife conservation and education hub in the Northeast of England, providing an opportunity for people to be inspired by wildlife and contribute towards our conservation projects. This is a huge responsibility and it certainly keeps me busy!

Being surrounded by all types of creatures on a daily basis, furred or feathered, I certainly do not find it hard getting inspiration for creating artwork, finding the time is the hardest part!
